Wooden Desk and Chair Office Sets

Brooklyn and Clark Formal Executive Set

One of our most popular combinations is the Brooklyn Executive Desk and Clark Leather Tufted Office Chair. This set is perfect for a sophisticated, formal office setting.

The Brooklyn features two file drawers on each side with five additional, smaller drawers. Curved, flared legs add an elegant, regal touch. The back and sides of the desk are available with or without arched paneling for added detail.

The Clark chair features a five-star base with easily adjustable height. Solid wood frames the leather chair back, seat, and armrests. The high back features tufted leather that forms an intricate diamond pattern.

This set looks excellent in natural walnut wood or in our rare flamed birch option. Please note the Brooklyn desk is available in a smaller size, as an L shaped desk, and as a wall desk with a hutch top.

Rolltop and DC55 Cozy Home Office Set

Another attractive pair is our Conventional Wood Rolltop Desk and DC55 Brown Leather Chair. Like the Brooklyn style, our Rolltop desk features two file drawers and five smaller drawers in its base. In addition, the top has eight more filing spaces, two small drawers, and eight spaces for various office items.

The DC55 chair also features a five-star adjustable base and a combination of solid wood and leather. It differs from the Clark style in that it features an arched, high back and the leather pattern is simpler. This style also features round, metal embellishments that add detail on the chair back, seat, and armrests.

Since both of these options have a more traditional, cozy feel, we recommend highly figured wood with a warm tone. Our quarter sawn oak and elm wood are excellent choices paired with our tumbleweed brown leather option.

This combination makes an excellent home office desk set. Its storage space allows for maximum organization with a comfortable, inviting feel.

Jackson and MD51 Modern, Informal Office Set

This pair is perfect for a contemporary, casual office setting. This combination has a more welcoming, less formal feel than the Brooklyn and Clark office set.

The Jackson wooden desk with drawers is a modern take on classic Amish Shaker style. It features simple, functional design in line with Amish values. This style features square legs, a slight beveled edge, and clean, straight lines throughout the desk.

Like the previously mentioned styles, the Jackson features two file cabinets and five smaller drawers for optimal storage space. In addition, this style has a pullout board on either side of the center. Keyboard trays and loose documents often occupy surface space on a busy day. These are convenient for placing a drink or snack when the desk has no free space.

The MD51 is an upholstered office chair that pairs well with the simplicity of the Jackson style. This style also features a five-star adjustable base for convenience. For a more modern look, the MD51 features a lower back and solid wood armrests.

For this contemporary combination, we recommend hickory wood with our Asbury Brown stain and the Paloma faux leather option. The light, neutral fabric contrasts well with a darker, figured wood pattern.

Small Real Wood Desk Options

For smaller spaces, we recommend our Ashton, Austin, and Shaker wood writing desks. Each of these options measures only 48 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The Austin and Shaker styles are 22 inches deep, while the Ashton is slightly larger at 24 inches deep.

The Shaker and Austin styles specifically also function well as living room furniture. Place one of these along the back of a couch for a sofa table or along a wall as a hall table.

Ashton - Formal Computer Desk

The Ashton Secretary Desk is a delicate yet decorative style. Each leg features an ornate design that contrasts between sharp squares and dramatic, elegant curves. Then, the leg tapers subtly until it meets the floor.

This style also features a beveled edge on the table top as well as beveled drawer fronts. The Ashton has two equally sized drawers for storing office items.

For a traditional feel, choose rustic white oak with our Cocoa Light stain and rounded handles. For a more formal look, choose a maple Dark Knight base with a Granite Bay white oak top.

Austin - Casual Wood Office Desk

This style features much simpler design than the ornate Ashton desk. The Austin desk has rounded corners instead of a beveled edge for a cozier feel. Each leg features a slight, curved taper at the base.

This style is available in two layouts: one drawer or four drawers. The former features a singular, wide drawer at the center of the desk. This option displays solid wood framing on three sides above the taper of each leg.

The four drawer option features a file cabinet, a medium sized drawer, and a small drawer on one side of the desk. The other side has a small, wide drawer for maximum storage space. The wood framing is only visible on one side of the desk and not along the back of it like the other option.

The four drawer option is naturally more expensive because it requires more materials and time to craft. For reference, this option is $885 in Michael's Cherry stain on oak wood. The singular drawer option in the same wood species and stain is $534.

Shaker - Classic Amish Writing Desk

This style features unique elements of classic Amish design. The table top has straight, square edges with no rounding or bevel for a simple look. The legs display Shaker style tapering. This means they taper subtly from the two inward facing sides while the outward sides remain straight.

The Shaker style desk features one central, wide drawer. Round, wooden knobs are the norm in Shaker style, but other options are certainly available. Our rustic quarter sawn oak is an excellent choice for this style, as it reflects classic Amish craftsmanship.

For a more modern look, choose a dark stain for the base and a light yet natural stain for the top with a thin, long drawer handle.

Large Hutch or L Shaped Wood Desk Options

For more spacious office environments, our solid wood L shaped desk and hutch options are ideal. Both the Jackson and Brooklyn styles are available in these designs.

Flat Wall Desks with Hutch Top

A hutch topper on a desk is a great way to add vertical storage space. Both our Brooklyn and Jackson hutch desks feature two large doors on either side with open shelving in between. The shiplap back displays evenly spaced vertical boards for added detail. Both styles feature a small cutout for computer wires to discreetly plug into the wall with no mess.

The Brooklyn style displays arched, beveled paneling on the door fronts while the Jackson has simpler, framed paneling. The former also features a cutout arch over the open shelving as well as a curved top for added detail.

Dimensions differ slightly between the two hutch styles as the Jackson is slightly larger. In inches, it measures 69 wide, 24 deep, and 78 high. The Brooklyn is 66 x 26 x 76 inches.

L Shaped Wood Desks

L shaped office desks have more surface and storage space than other options. They also make excellent corner desks to maximize space.

Both the Jackson and Brooklyn L shaped wood desks include two large file drawers and six smaller drawers. Only the Jackson style features twin pullout boards for maximum surface space.

These options differ slightly in size with the Brooklyn style having slightly more space. It measures 74 inches wide from both ends, 26 deep, and 30 high. The Jackson style is 72 from both ends, 24 deep, and 30 high.
