Amish Outdoor Glider Style Options

Our selection includes the popular Adirondack style glider, with vertical panels of wood displayed in fan-like pattern.

We also offer the Comfort Back glider, which is curved to give lumbar and neck support and has thinner, horizontal panels.

Another option is the Modura glider. The vertical wooden panels curve around the sitter, creating a unique and modern outdoor swivel glider chair.

Both the Adirondack and Comfort Back styles are available as swivel glider chairs and as benches. Most of our outdoor bench gliders include two central cupholders rather than one on each side. These cupholders can fold seamlessly into the back of the bench when preferred.

Our outdoor glider benches and chairs are available for both dining height and counter height. Almost all include a retractable cupholder positioned under the right armrest.

Our end tables include the sawbuck, clipped corner, and deluxe styles. All three have an additional surface below the top of the table to store or display items. The sawbuck styles has a slightly more complex design with symmetrical crosses, while the other two are less eye catching. All these styles are also available as coffee tables.

Another good addition to our outdoor gliders are the ottomans we offer. Both stationary and gliding ottomans are available. A gliding ottoman will move with the sitter and is a unique piece.

We also offer a sloped footrest perfect for lounging as well as poly planter boxes.

How does severe weather affect poly Amish gliders?

Another benefit of having poly furniture in your outdoor space is convenience during changing seasons. You won't need to move our gliders inside a garage during winter months because they are frost and snow resistant. Unlike wood, poly will not crack, warp, or splinter because of its high resistance to cold.

Poly is waterproof, so rain and melting snow will have no affect on it. This also makes it ideal for poolside furniture.

Because of its high density, poly is also unaffected by salt water and other chemicals like pesticides. It makes perfect beach furniture or can sit in grass maintained with pesticides.

Poly can also withstand hurricanes as it is heavy enough to endure strong winds and is waterproof.

This durable material also contains UV inhibitors, ensuring that sun exposure will not lead to fading, cracking, or discoloration.

Poly is a low maintenance material and you can keep it in the same spot year round. Our outdoor gliders will maintain their color and function for years. We use poly because it outshines other materials in both durability and convenience.

What materials should you use to properly clean poly furniture?

You can remove most stains simply by brushing off dirt and then scrubbing the material with dish soap and warm water. We also recommend using a soft sponge or bristle brush and rinsing the poly with a garden hose.

For tougher stains, we recommend using a plastic bristle brush or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

For deep cleaning, you can use a pressure washer on the lowest setting. We recommend not exceeding 1,500psi and keeping the tip of the pressure washer 10-12 inches from the poly lumber.

You can use these methods to successfully remove tough stains like wine, embedded dirt, bird droppings, and more. Since poly does not absorb liquid and has a tough surface, cleaning is much easier compared to other materials. Unlike wood, poly is difficult to stain and can withstand harsher cleaning methods.

We offer 10 standard poly colors (white, sand, light gray, cedar, cherrywood, patriot blue, turf green, tudor brown, dark gray, and black). Premium poly wood colors include Pink, Bright Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Aruba Blue, and Purple. Wood grain color options include Birchwood, Driftwood Gray, Coastal Gray, Antique Mahogany and Brazilian Walnut. Prices vary by color in poly wood glider loveseat patio furniture.

We offer each of our outdoor glider chairs and benches in two colors. You can choose any two colors we offer to create your own, unique outdoor patio glider. From neutral tones to bright, eye-catching outdoor pieces, Upstate Amish has them all.

The lowest priced option is if both colors are from the standard poly colors selection. The price increases if one color option is standard and the other is premium poly or wood grain. The most expensive option is if both colors selected are premium poly or wood grain.

You can also choose one color for the whole item if you prefer.

Unlike painted wood, the color of poly lumber is resistant to peeling and fading over time.

What is our shipping policy?

We ship anywhere in the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. Our delivery team will position the furniture in your home or outdoor space as part of the service.

We make all our furniture as orders come in in Ohio and typically take 8-12 weeks to deliver your order to your home. Delivery times are a couple weeks shorter surrounding our locations in Ohio and Seneca, South Carolina.

Our associate in Ohio will contact you about two weeks in advance to set up a delivery date. He will reach out via text and is available to address any delivery questions or concerns you may have.

We carefully package our furniture for shipment, but we realize in rare cases damages occur in transit. If this happens, we will replace the item as quickly as possible at no cost to you.
