Welcome to Upstate Amish Furniture Gallery! We are an Amish owned, retail furniture source direct from Amish Country. Our home base is in Berlin, Ohio, where our small retail shop was started in 2009 by Gary Yoder. The team in Berlin has grown to fourteen over the past fifteen years.

Gary, along with most of his team, started in the woodworking and furniture manufacturing industry as a teenager helping in a family business. Our team has invaluable background experience in all aspects of manufacturing including building and assembling bedroom and dining furniture, staining and finishing the furniture, building custom furniture, operation of a wood lathe, building and installing custom kitchen cabinets and much more.

It was through the connection to Amish furniture manufacturing, that Gary met Shane Little shortly after opening our shop in 2009. They became friends quickly and have discussed working together from the time they met. Many times, our customers from locations like South Carolina voiced a desire for the convenience of a showroom closer to home. For the first time in 15 years everything seemed to line up for this vision to become reality. So, the day has finally come, and the Little family will be managing the store in the Upstate.

Shane & Jennifer both have a strong background in Amish furniture. They have been in the business of distributing Amish furniture for 14 years together. Before that they had a store in MD for over 15 years specializing in solid hardwood furniture made in the U.S. 

The Little family moved to SC in 2021 when their oldest son Kaleb made the decision to attend Clemson. He is now a graduate of Clemson University. Jacob, their middle son will be starting his freshman year at Clemson in the fall of 2024.
Elijah will be starting his freshman year at Daniel High School in the fall of 2024. All three will be a part of the store in this new chapter in the family business.

Our goal- Customer experience, customer experience, customer experience. We want this experience to be so good that you want to tell everyone about it. We strive to offer a high-quality product at a good price. More than that we want our customers to feel satisfaction and joy when they reflect on their experience.

Our team- We have 14 employees in the Ohio location and 5 employees in the SC location, all dedicated to making this one of your best customer experiences. 

We have a process, and we believe in it strongly. Our process begins with being well organized. The systems we have in place makes the special ordering of furniture less confusing. You will know when you are getting your order. Communication is another part of the process. You will be communicated with and know where your order is. We listen to our customers to try to improve constantly. Please offer feedback. We enjoy hearing it.

Delivery- We deliver directly to your home from our warehouse. There are no middlemen freight or delivery services. This means less opportunity for damages or mistakes.

Customer Service- All customer service is handled in house.  You can speak directly with one of our team members so we can work closely with you to answer any questions.
