Below, we will highlight our outdoor fire tables and pieces that compliment them well. We'll also explain why poly lumber is the best material for patio fire tables with propane gas.
Our Outdoor Fire Pit Table Patio Furniture
We offer two styles of propane fire pit tables: Signature and Crystal. About 50,000 btu is the industry standard, which provides warmth for those nearby and an aesthetic flame. The flame height is adjustable for your ideal setting.
Customers can also get a natural gas conversion kit if they prefer. Each table has a central space for ignition surrounded by glass walls on all sides for safety.
Our Signature Firepit Table measures 24 x 50 inches. It features wide, clearly defined boards that run widthwise and small, clipped corners. The glass walls create a rectangle around the central fire. This style looks great in black and one of our wood grain color options.
The Crystal Firepit Table is available in two sizes: 44 x 44 and 44 x 72 inches. The square size features circular glass walls while the larger option has rectangular glass like the Signature style. The boards run lengthwise down the table between two widthwise boards at both ends. This creates a more complex design than the Signature and looks smoother and more cohesive.
While we don't currently offer a bar height patio table with fire pit, dining and counter height are available. Our dining height is 30 inches tall and the counter height is 36.
Ideas for a Patio Table with a Fire Pit
Outdoor fire tables are popular for a plethora of reasons. They add warmth to a chilly day outdoors and brighten up evenings and nights.
Anything from stainless steel to wicker patio furniture can pair well with these tables. Below, we list a few great ideas for how to use your outdoor fire pit table.
Food Bar Set Up on a Fire Table Outside
Our Signature Firepit Table is perfect for setting up food that guests can roast themselves. This works best by placing it against a wall with plates and ingredients where guests can wander over at their leisure.
S'mores make an excellent DIY dessert station for this fire table. Set up napkins, a pack of marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers on the tabletop. Then, guests can roast their marshmallows however they prefer throughout the evening.
Or, set up a vegetable skewer station where guests can create and roast their own appetizers. Small, bitesize foods works best like mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, peppers, and sliced zucchini. Add a variety of spices and sauces on the tabletop as a finishing touch.
Outdoor Fire Pit Dining Table and Chairs
Our 44 x 44 inch Crystal Firepit Table is perfect for a four person outdoor dining set. It offers sufficient space to set up plates and utensils around the central fire and glass inserts. The 44 x 72 inch size can seat six people comfortably and eight if two sit at each end.
Any of our outdoor dining chairs work well with a fire pit table. Four styles are available including classic Adirondack, contemporary Modura, Comfort Back, and traditional Gateway. Browse our outdoor chairs online to see more options.
Another great seating option for an outdoor fire pit dining table is our poly wood barstools. These are available with or without swivels and at 24 and 30 inches. We offer two different styles of barstool: Classic and Saddle.
Gliders with Patio Fire Table
Other great outdoor furniture for a fire table is a set of glider chairs. These are available at dining and counter height to pair with any of our fire tables. Adding swivels is always an option as well. A glider chair and fire table combo offers a great way to enjoy outdoor scenery on a chilly day.
Comfortable Outdoor Living Space
Set up our Sawbuck cushioned chairs and a loveseat around a fire table for a cozy outdoor space. At dining height, our tables can function as a tall coffee table. If this is too high for your space, patio table fire bowls are a popular alternative. However, they usually lack surface tabletop space.
Poly Lumber for Patio Fire Tables
At Upstate Amish, we believe poly lumber is the best material for outdoor furniture, including fire tables. Our poly wood is sustainable, long lasting, highly weather resistant, and available in a variety of colors.
A major benefit for outdoor fire tables in specific is that poly wood is highly fire resistant. This is important if roasting food catches fire and drops to the tabletop. Poly will not ignite, meaning the flame can't rapidly spread like on a regular wood surface.
Sustainable
We source our poly lumber from Tangent Sustainable Lumber. TSL has a Closed Loop Product Certification and are Green Circle Certified. They create poly wood by repurposing plastic waste like milk jugs and detergent bottles. This diverts millions of pounds every year from landfills.
Aside from the production, poly wood is incredibly long lasting. Typically, pieces last for decades without needing replacement. This ensures that consumers buy and discard less outdoor furniture over time.
At the end of its life, customers can recycle their poly wood furniture. Simply find a recycling facility nearby that accepts HDPE materials. Or, send the furniture back to a manufacturer who can reuse it to make new pieces.
Our poly wood is much more eco friendly than alternatives like wood, metal, and stone fire pit tables. These options use natural resources and typically are not recyclable.
Durable and Weather Resistant
Poly wood is also much more durable than other materials for outdoor furniture. This is because it is immune to severe weather by design. Poly is entirely waterproof, so snow, frost, and any issues resulting from moisture have no effect. This means rot, rust, and decay are impossible with poly wood.
Poly also has UV inhibitors that protect it from sun damage. This material does not fade, crack, or experience discoloration. Over time, poly lumber maintains color and function better than alternatives.
