Our Favorite Dining Room Storage Cabinets
Dining storage space is necessary for many reasons. Glass doors that display your favorite china pieces and other family heirlooms are always a good investment. Less aesthetic items like placemats, tablecloths, and napkins require their own space as well. A space for wine glasses and your collection of reds and whites isn't a bad idea either.
At Upstate Amish, we can fulfill all your dining storage needs with our selection of high quality pieces. Each style varies in function and design, but all boast superior craftsmanship.
A popular, versatile piece is our OBG Wine Buffet Dining Cabinet with Hutch. This piece offers storage for wine glasses at the top and bottles behind a glass door at the bottom. It features two large wooden doors suitable for storing tablecloths and other sizable items you may want hidden from view while not in use. Between the doors are two drawers perfect for storing silverware sets.

This buffet table also features two wide serving pullouts intended for placing cheese plates and other appetizers. Other details include a mirror back and LED lights for ambiance. Elevate your dinner parties and family gatherings with this classic, multi-function piece.
Our Aberdeen Glass Display Curio Cabinet is another excellent choice. This piece functions more like a traditional china cabinet with two large sliding glass doors. Both doors can slide the width of the cabinet simultaneously. The Aberdeen style also features glass shelves, a shiplap back, and a subtle light.
This and similar styles are ideal for displaying valuable antiques like vases or china sets. They are also an excellent place to store cremated ashes of loved ones who can't attend family dinners in person.
A great option for small dining spaces is our Gilmore Wood Bookcase. This versatile piece can certainly double as a compact dining room storage cabinet. It features adjustable glass shelves with a small light and three drawers underneath. Rounded edges with an arched top and legs make this piece modern yet unique.
On the other end of the spectrum is our Manhattan dining room cabinet and hutch. This style is especially large measuring 66.5 inches across and 79.5 inches tall. The lower half features three large doors and two wide drawers. The top half is complete with two glass doors and open shelves in between.
Details like the flared legs and a shiplap back help this piece stand out as well. The Manhattan style looks especially nice in maple wood with our gunsmoke stain and a white shiplap back.
Solid Wood Buffet and Sideboard Dining Room Cabinets
Buffets and sideboards are highly functional, versatile pieces of storage furniture. While commonly used in dining rooms, many of these pieces can double as entertainment centers for living rooms. This is ideal if you move to a house with a smaller dining area and need to repurpose a piece or two.
Our Tuscany Rustic Buffet is always an excellent choice. This piece has two sets of arched glass doors that open to solid wood shelving. It features clean, straight lines and looks great in natural hickory wood for a modern rustic dining room design.

The Laker Walnut Buffet is a more traditional style. It features two large solid wood paneled doors with drawers in between, all overlay style. The turned legs have ornate details and the piece features sanded edges as well.
For maximum storage capacity, we recommend the Carlisle Settler's Buffet. This style features four doors, four drawers, and two serving pullouts for optional increased surface area. Since the design is simple, the focal point of this piece is the wood grain and pattern. For this reason, we recommend woods like white oak, cherry, or walnut that have interesting patterns and color tones.
Another excellent storage solution is the Rowan Buffet. This style features two paneled, inset doors, five inset drawers, and two serving pullouts. This is a taller options, measuring 40.5 inches off the ground. The plank top has sanded edges and the legs are in the classic Mission style.
The Rowan Buffet is part of a set of dining room furniture. The matching dining table and dining bench offer an interesting take on the classic Mission style.
Our most sustainable option is our Timberland Reclaimed Wood Buffet. The entire piece is repurposed barn wood with history and dramatic color differences. Choosing this wood type not only reduces barn wood heading to landfills, but avoids the chopping down of more trees.
The Timberland Buffet style features three columns of drawers above doors. It has sanded edges, square legs, and the doors and drawers are all inset. This piece is part of a collection of dining furniture perfect for a rustic, timeless dining room.

Corner Hutches as Dining Room Storage Cabinets
Corner hutches are a great addition to any Amish dining set, especially those with limited space. Not all dining rooms have room for a full size hutch cabinet. Corner hutches maximize space by sitting in a typically unused location. This increases traffic flow and dining room storage space.
Our Biltmore Corner Hutch is a popular style. It features two glass doors, an open space with a table top, and two wood doors below. The inset and paneled doors feature slight arches in both the wood and the beveled glass. Inside the glass doors are glass shelves with plate grooves.
Biltmore Corner Hutch

The Ellington style is similar to the Biltmore but features a solid base without legs. The glass doors also display an unusual pattern of arched wood. This style looks especially beautiful in ebony maple and golden brown cherry wood.
Our final corner hutch is the Katie style. This piece is a much more traditional option, but features the same basic design of the other two hutches. This piece has overlay, paneled doors with a beveled grid glass pattern on top. The top and bottom feature ornate arches as well as decorative rope trim.
Oak is a great choice for Katie's Corner Hutch because it adds a county, rustic feel to the traditional piece. However, all these corner hutches are available in any wood species and stain we offer. Each piece is entirely customizable, so contact us with any questions about modifications to the design.
