High End Beach Chairs in South Carolina

Beach chairs are a must for those lucky enough to live on the water. Enjoy the salt air on a nice beach day with our high quality patio furniture. We offer a variety of styles to choose from that range from classic to modern.

Each is handmade by Amish experts in Ohio with poly wood lumber, which makes the best beach chairs. Each of our styles is available as a stationary lounge chair, a glider chair, or even a swivel glider. These are all available with a cupholder and at balcony or standard height.

The Best Beach Chairs in 4 Classic Styles

We offer four unique styles for our outdoor chairs. Purchase a matching set or mix and match for added variety. Be sure to browse our end tables and coffee tables that perfectly pair with our outdoor chairs.

Adirondack

The Adirondack style has been popular for over a hundred years. Originating in 1903, its reclined back and lowered seat make this style perfect for relaxing. As for the actual design, the straight, slanted back features wide boards in a vertical fan-like pattern.

The horizontal boards of the seat contrast well. This style looks especially nice with a black base and our Brazilian Walnut wood grain color.

Modura

The Modura style is much more modern, with straight, slanted and evenly spaced boards along the back of the chair. These vertical boards curve around the sitter for an unusual yet sophisticated design. This style looks best in a mix a black and cool grays and blues.

Gateway

The Gateway style is more traditional. The design features an arch along the back of the chair with thin, vertical boards underneath. Gateway style chairs work well as dining chairs to pair with our outdoor dining tables. They are available with and without arms.

Comfort Back

The Comfort Back style is certainly our most comfortable option. The thin, horizontal back boards curve for neck and lumbar support. The lack of contrast between the evenly sized and spaced back and seat boards give this style a more modern look as well.

Different Types of High Quality Beach Chairs

We offer a range of stationary, glider, swivel, swivel glider, and more styles of outdoor chairs. Each is more suitable for different settings and preferences.

Stationary Beach Chairs

For our Adirondack style, we offer folding beach chairs. These are perfect for packing in a car and setting up on the beach. Our folding chair rest is the perfect compliment to create your own beach chaise chair set. While these don't include backpack straps, there are a variety of online retailers that sell carry straps.

All styles are also available as simple lounge chairs that double as dining chairs. You can easily create an outdoor dining set or enjoy the deep seat of our lounge chairs. These are of course available at balcony height to compliment our balcony outdoor dining tables.

Our chair sets are also stationary. These are two chairs of the same style joined together by a small connecting table between the armrests.

Swivel Glider Beach Chairs

Every style is available with a swivel, with a gliding motion, or with both! We don't recommend these chair types for dining seating, but they are excellent for a conversation set.

Swivels specifically are great for outdoor spaces with a 180 or higher degree view. This way, the sitter can swivel with ease to take in the natural scenery. Instead of craning your neck to see the entirety of the view, swivel your whole body in an instant.

The glider chair design is perfect for small spaces. This is because the back and forth gliding motion takes less space to complete than a rocker or porch swing.

More Outdoor Seating Options

Aside from our beach chairs, we offer a variety of outdoor seating. This includes rocking chairs, porch swings, and benches.

We have stationary garden benches or gliding benches for a relaxing day on the porch. Our swings come in the styles listed as well as the Sawbuck Cushion Swing with performance fabrics.

Browse our outdoor footrests as well to create a chaise lounge setup perfect for the beach.

Polywood Makes the Best Outdoor Furniture for Coastal Climates

Our selection of coastal outdoor furniture is 100% premium poly lumber. This material is eco friendly, durable, and highly weather resistant. Don't hesitate to choose poly wood for your outdoor spaces.

About Our Poly Lumber for High Quality Beach Chairs

Poly wood is well over 90% recycled plastic. This reduces the amount of plastic waste like milk jugs and detergent bottles that ends up at landfills. The production also doesn't use natural resources, unlike wood and metal alternatives.

Polywood's durability increases its lifespan as well. This is good for the environment because it means consumers buy and throw away less furniture over time.

This material is infinitely recyclable as well. This means that when you want to replace your polywood furniture, you can recycle entire pieces. Simply send your used beach chair back to a poly manufacturer and it can help create more polywood pieces. Or, find a recycling facility that accepts HDPE near you.

Our polywood outdoor pieces are superior to powder coated aluminum, a top competitor. This is because the aluminum heats in direct sun, making it hot to the touch and difficult to use in coastal climates. It also visibly scratches, which makes it susceptible to corrosion.

Another reason poly wood is a better alternative to aluminum is its weight. Aluminum frames are lightweight, and vulnerable to strong winds. This means you would need to store it during hurricane season. Poly is rather heavy, making it able to withstand hurricanes and other natural disasters.

Poly wood also contains UV inhibitors to protect it from the sun. Fade resistance enables poly wood to maintain its color stain for years without discoloration.

Polywood Beach Chair Color Options

We offer a variety of colors ranging from neutral tones to bright accents for our Amish poly outdoor furniture. You can select one color for the whole piece or choose our two-toned option. Keep in mind that since polywood color is a stain, it will never need sanding or repainting.

Our standard options include mostly natural colors with a few accent options as well. These are: White, Weatherwood, Light Gray, Cedar, Cherrywood, Tudor Brown, Dark Gray, and Black. The standard accents with a bit more pop are: Mint Green, Patriot Blue, and Turf Green.

Our premium options are more expensive and tend to be brighter and more eye catching. These include Pink, Bright Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Aruba Blue, and Purple. We also offer wood grain colors at the same price. These are: Seashell, Birchwood, Driftwood Gray, Coastal Gray, Antique Mahogany, and Brazilian Walnut.

Mix and match our polywood colors to create your ideal patio furniture set. Be sure to browse our other coastal outdoor furniture to match our high end beach chairs.
