At Upstate Amish Furniture Gallery, we offer a wide variety of poly wood outdoor furniture. Each piece is handmade, sustainable, and highly durable. From outdoor dining sets to swings and swivel chairs, we make stylish options for outdoor spaces.
Patio Furniture Sets with Rocking Chairs
A great conversation set for any patio is one of our rocking chair styles paired with an end table in between. We offer a classic Adirondack Rocker and an X-Back Rocker. Add your own chair cushions for increased comfort. Outdoor rocker chair cushions are easy to find online and highly customizable.

An outdoor rocking chair set of 2 with a table is a relaxing spot for any outdoor space. Our Sawbuck End Table perfectly matches the X-Back Rocker with cross designs at both ends and space for storage.
Patio Set with Swivel or Rocking Chairs
Typically, swivel chairs are better if the bar or table is in front of the sitter. Rocking chairs are ideal when the table is beside the sitter. This is because the rocking chairs move back and forth, making the distance between them and the surface ahead awkward.
A great idea for a patio space is a bar with swivel chairs. Guests enjoy a 360 degree view of their surroundings and space-efficient furniture. If you plan on adding seat cushions, we recommend the swivel chair with a back so they stay in place.

We have bars that suit any sized space. Our smallest option is a Classic Bar at 33 inches. Our largest is the Deluxe Corner Bar that seats six swivel chairs. Every bar has space on the inside to store cocktail ingredients or other items.
Outdoor Dining Sets with Swivel or Rocker Chairs
A patio dining set is an excellent use of outdoor space. Our Deluxe Outdoor Dining Table comes in a variety of colors and sizes at dining, counter, and bar heights. Our Gateway Side Dining Chair pairs well with this table.

If you choose a bar height dining table, we recommend our Classic Swivel Barstools. These are available with or without a back or swivel. A benefit of having a dining set that includes swivel chairs is that they are more versatile for open spaces. Guests can easily swivel from the food and conversation to the view and leave the table with ease.
A patio dining set with rocking chairs typically is not ideal. Guests, especially elders, may have a hard time adjusting to eating with a rocking motion. Also, it may be difficult to position these chairs close enough to the table and plate while eating.
We also offer a Round Outdoor Dining Table that ranges in size from 36 to 54 inches. This style offers a covered umbrella hole and brace at the base of the table. This way, you can enjoy meals outside in shady comfort.
Outdoor Swivel Glider Chairs
We offer a wide selection of swivel glider chairs perfect for outdoor patio sets. The ergonomic design of the Comfort Back style makes it a popular choice. It also features stylish horizontal boards. Like our other styles, a retractable cupholder is optional.
Another stylish option is the Modura Swivel Glider Chair. It features wide, vertical boards that curve inwards for a unique, modern appearance. This style is also available as just swivel, just glider, or stationary.
Other styles are the Adirondack and Gateway Swivel Glider Chairs. The former is a more classic style, with vertical boards that angle out from the center in a curve. The Gateway style has parallel vertical boards that are thin and connected by an arch.
Why is Poly Lumber Best for Outdoor Furniture?
Poly wood is the best material for outdoor furniture because it is eco-friendly, long lasting, and weather resistant. We source our material from Tangent Sustainable Lumber. Then, our Amish partners craft each piece with detail and skill. The best outdoor furniture in Greenville, SC is here at Upstate Amish.
TSL creates poly wood by combining recycled materials like milk jugs and detergent bottles into a plastic based lumber. This not only diverts waste from our nation's landfills, but avoids using natural resources to create new furniture.
Since poly lumber is highly dense, it is incredibly durable. This means it typically lasts 15-20 years or longer. Other materials need replacement after 5-10 years. Compared to them, this is a significant upgrade.
This highly durable material is resistant to rust, rot, splintering, corrosion, and decay. Severe weather has little or no effect on poly wood, as it is frost, snow, and water resistant. It also contains UV inhibitors that protect the material from fading, cracking, and discoloration from sun damage.
Poly lumber is also especially easy to clean. It require little maintenance. Mild dish soap with warm water and a bristle brush work best for cleaning embedded dirt and other stains. Our outdoor furniture can go months without cleaning, making it ideal for vacation homes.
Instead of powder coating, poly wood gets its color before the plastic lumber forms. This way, the color runs through the entire material, not just the outside. This makes chipping and fading impossible. Our color options are standard or premium, with standard being the lowest price, and premium more expensive.
Standard options include: white, sand, light gray, mint green, cedar, cherrywood, patriot blue, turf green, tudor brown, dark gray, and black. These are mostly neutral options, while our premium options are typically accent colors.
The premium colors are: pink, bright red, orange, yellow, lime green, aruba blue, and purple. We also offer wood grain options at the same price as our premium colors. These are: seashell, birchwood, driftwood gray, coastal gray, antique mahogany, and brazilian walnut.
