At Upstate Amish, we offer a wide variety of Amish entertainment centers. Each is handmade by Amish expert woodworkers in Ohio. The level of durability, craftsmanship, and stylish details make each piece heirloom quality.
One major benefit of choosing Amish made furniture is the level of customization we offer. For every item, customers can choose wood species and stain, as well as style and size. We also offer a quality selection of hardware options so you can choose which handles and knobs suit your living room most.
For example, we don't offer any reclaimed wood entertainment centers online. However, this doesn't mean we can't use reclaimed barn wood to make these styles. For reference, browse our Timberland Reclaimed Wood collection online.
Aside from the easily customizable details listed above, we also complete many custom orders. This includes built in pieces and other items. If you have any questions or concerns about custom living room furniture, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Contact us via our website, call, or visit us in person at our store in Seneca, SC. We have various pieces of different wood species and stains in our store that you can buy and take home in the same day. Comparing wood grain patterns and stains in person can also help you decide what will work best for your space.
Our Solid Wood Entertainment Centers
An excellent choice for a rustic style living room is our Arcadia Sliding Barn Door Media Console. This style feature two doors on either side that can slide along an iron detail. In the center of the piece is three layers of open shelving to store all your gaming consoles or a DVD player. The back of the shelves features two holes for cables to pass through and connect to the TV.
If both sliding doors meet at the center, this covers the shelving and reveals drawers. Each side has three stacked drawers perfect for storing movies and video games. We recommend rustic cherry or white oak for this farmhouse style entertainment center with wood doors.
The Arcadia style is available in 72, 60, and 48 inches. However, the 48 inch size has one sliding door instead of two, and one column of drawers. You can also select stationary glass or wood doors for this style.
Another 100% solid wood option is our Century 75 Wood TV Stand. This stylish piece is a modern take on a retro design. It features two paneled wood doors on either side of open shelving. Beneath are three inset drawers creating a sleek, clean look.
The straight legs taper from the inside for a geometric yet classic result. This style looks especially great in natural walnut wood, reminiscent of the 60s and 70s.
We can also edit our other styles that feature glass or fireplaces to have solid wood doors instead. For example, the Austin style is available online with either glass or solid wood door. The Riverton is also available with a fireplace center or simple doors.
Wooden Entertainment Centers with Fireplaces
Combining a fireplace and an entertainment center in one piece is a great way to maximize space. This also provides a way for homes without fireplaces to acquire one. Having a fireplace that can move to a different room or new house is also extra convenient. We offer three fireplace Amish entertainment centers: Riverton, Brooklyn, and Westbrook.
The Riverton style measures 72 inches wide with the fireplace in the center and two wood doors on either side. The paneled, inset doors are traditional yet clean and neat. The tabletop edges are straight and clean and the legs taper slightly on the inside.
The Brooklyn style similarly features a central electric fireplace with doors on either side. The paneled and inset doors also arch with a beveled edge. The legs of this TV cabinets curve all the way up to the tabletop for an interesting, modern look.
The tabletop features curved, rounded edges and looks great in highly figured elm wood. The black wood of the entertainment center is maple wood in an ebony stain. However, you can choose any combination of wood species and stains for every piece.
Our final piece is the Westbrook Natural Wood Entertainment Center. This high quality wall unit is the focal point of any living room. It measures 116 inches wide with a central cutout for a large TV above the fireplace. The fireplace has two medium sized doors on either side and then two bookshelf towers beyond them.
The towers feature two large doors at the base and open glass shelving for even more storage space. Each tower also has lights at the top to better display items on the shelves. Additional storage for video game consoles and DVD players lies above the fireplace. It has a small circular cutout for wires to connect to the TV.
Real Wood Entertainment Centers with Glass Doors
Our Half Mission Grid Solid Wood Entertainment Center is a great choice for any space. It features an eased edge and looks great in quartersawn white oak. Both these elements are common in classic Amish Mission style furniture.
The Half Mission Grid style features two glass doors with a wooden grid pattern. These doors open to ample storage space for movies, games, and more. Beneath the doors is a large drawer and short, angled legs.
Another traditional style is our Plymouth 52" Amish Entertainment Center. This style features a central glass door with an arched grid pattern and two solid wood doors on either side. The side doors also feature an arched, paneled, inset design. Above the doors is a decorative black rope trim detail.
The Plymouth features Shaker style tapered legs and an unusual tabletop. It has a beveled edge all around and the sides curve inward to better display the black rope trim. Elm wood looks great on the Plymouth style because its highly figured, decorative pattern matches the ornate details of the design.
The Plymouth is also available as a corner TV console. It features the same details but is a different shape designed to fit perfectly in a corner. The Brooklyn style is also available as a corner TV stand with glass doors.
Customize our Solid Wood Entertainment Centers
All these styles are fully customizable. For example, you love the Arcadia's sliding doors but would prefer open shelves instead of drawers. We can edit the design easily for details like glass vs wood doors, shelves, drawers, and whatever other changes you want to make.
As mentioned earlier, built in custom pieces are always an option as well. Custom ordered wall units are popular because we design them specifically for your space. This ensures the perfect fit in dimensions, style, and details.
Contact us if you have any questions about customizing your order. Because we provide this level of customization, our partners make each piece after the order comes in. This means our delivery times typically range from 8-12 weeks unless the pieces are in stock. However, this tradeoff is well worth heirloom quality, timeless Amish furniture.
