Many aspects of Amish made furniture are different from mass produced competitors. Primarily, we handcraft all items with solid wood and all pieces are completely customizable.
Since all our pieces are 100% solid wood, there are no veneers or laminates. Veneer furniture is an expensive board of wood like walnut glued to a cheap material like plywood. This eventually leads to chipping and cracking and sometimes water damage. Solid wood, on the other hand, is easily repairable because we can sand and refinish it.
Solid hardwood is generally more durable than veneer furniture. Also, it is a better investment because it holds its value over time. Our heirloom quality full wood platform platform beds with storage will maintain their function and timeless appearance.
We offer many types and stains of wood that you can choose from for each piece. Every order is entirely customizable. If you see something in our store or online that you want in a different species of wood, we can easily make that adjustment.
Various domestic woods are available including maple, black cherry, red oak, white, oak, elm, birch, hickory, and walnut. Mission Style Platform Beds with Drawer Storage
The classic Amish Mission style originated during the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 19th century. This movement was a reaction against industrialization, which led to the rise of handcrafted items.
Mission style beds typically feature clean lines, flat panels, and often parallel slats that create a simple, stable design. Quartersawn white oak is most traditional for these pieces, displaying a ray unique fleck pattern.
Our Craftsman Mission Storage Platform Bed is the most traditional Mission style bed we offer. Its parallel slats and trio of panels in both the headboard and footboard display the classic style. This solid wood platform bed also features large siderail storage drawers.
Craftsman Bedroom Set
Our Mission Wood Panel Storage Platform Bed features four wide panels that arch at the headboard and lie flat at the footboard. This king or queen platform bed with storage siderail drawers is an excellent option for a formal, classic style bedroom set. This style is also available as a full bed or even a twin bed, although there are fewer panels.
We also offer Mission style Murphy beds that come complete with a box spring mattress. These look like storage cabinets from the outside, but in reality cannot store anything but the mattress. These foldable beds are perfect for vacation houses with varying guest counts.

The Denali Avondale is a sleigh platform bed frame with storage of solid wood. This sleigh style features a curved headboard, two wide panels, and elegant, tapered legs. The Denali Avondale is available in king, queen, and full size wood bed frames.
Another sleigh style platform bed is the Miranda. This bed features a curved headboard and raised panels. It looks especially elegant with burnished edges in the Asbury Brown stain on maple wood. This style features storage drawers at the foot of the bed and the sides.
