Glider Porch Bench Styles
Double gliders are an excellent addition to any porch or patio. This style bench uses less space than outdoor rocking chairs. This is because the smooth gliding mechanism needs less clearance than a rocker. This makes two person gliders ideal for more narrow spaces.
Our glider bench seats are not available as swivel gliders, but the single person glider chairs are. We offer three unique styles of glider swings for porches. These include: Adirondack, Comfort Back, and Gateway. Ask us about any edits you may want to make.
Adirondack
Our Adirondack double porch glider is an excellent option with classic design. The deep contoured seat is central to its original design like its shell patterned back. This pattern displays two sets of seven boards that fan out on the back of the glider.
This versatile style works for mountain homes as well as coastal locations. Consider Antique Mahogany and Black for a woodsy look or Aruba Blue and Seashell for a beach feel.

Comfort Back
As its name suggests, this style is our most comfortable double glider bench. It features thin, horizontal boards that curve along the back for neck and lumbar support.
This option has a simple, modern look perfect for a variety of outdoor spaces. Attractive color combos are: Weatherwood and Tudor Brown as well as Coastal or Dark Gray and Black.

Gateway
Our Gateway style features more traditional design with a curved arch along the back. Thin, vertical boards lie beneath it that contrast well with the curved seat. A great color choice for this glider bench is Weatherwood and Brazilian Walnut.

Outdoor Pieces to Pair with a Porch Glider Swing
Styling an outdoor space can be difficult because of space restrictions. Below, we offer a few ideas that work for small and large spaces.
Furniture for an Outdoor Living Room
An outdoor living room set up is an excellent option for a square patio size. First, select a style for your porch bench glider or even a porch swing. Then, browse our outdoor coffee tables and choose what will look best in your space.
Add another bench or swing opposite the first one. Then, choose a couple glider patio chairs to sit at the short ends of the coffee table. Consider our matching end tables for more surface space. For smaller spaces, both benches are not necessary to achieve a comfortable, conversational feel.
Planter Boxes for a Relaxing Sanctuary
For a tight space, a porch glider bench surrounded by planters is a great option. We offer two styles of planter boxes: standard and modern. The first option measures 17.5"W x 18.5"L x 16.5"H. The modern style is slightly larger at 18.5"W x 20"L and available at varying heights.
These are an excellent use of outdoor space and help brighten up any porch or patio. A great idea is to plant flowers that match the accent color of your porch glider. For example, choose our bright red poly wood color and a more natural option like Weatherwood or Birchwood.
Then, apply these same colors to the planter boxes. Grow a variety of beautiful red flowers for a cohesive, unique look. Some options are: roses, poppies, begonias, and carnations. Create an aromatic, gorgeous view right on your porch.
Another idea is to choose all black for the poly wood color. Then, add colorful species like orchids of varying shades for a splash of color. Zinnias, tulips, pansies, and snapdragons are perfect for this look as well.
Or, choose lovely greenery to create a relaxing spot. This could include ferns, elephant ears, lambs ears, or cactuses. Add hanging baskets with flowing leaves to complete the look.
Gliding Ottoman for Ultimate Comfort
Another option is to add two stationary or gliding footrests to your front porch glider. The sizes are ideal for single person chairs, so order two for a double glider. Our ottomans are generally small, and can fit in tight spaces.
Our gliding ottomans actually move back and forth in the same motion as the glider chairs. These make for a relaxing addition to any outdoor space.
Customize Your Porch Bench Glider
With Upstate Amish, customers enjoy a higher level of customization than with competitors. This is because each piece of indoor and outdoor furniture is handmade by expert Amish woodworkers in Ohio. They use their skill and detailed craftsmanship to create stylish, durable pieces.
They start every order after it comes in to tailor each piece to customer specifications. For our outdoor pieces, customers choose the style, height, size, and color for every item. This allows our customers to create unusual color combos that other stores do not offer.
However, this also means customized orders take longer to create and deliver. In stock pieces are out for delivery within two to four weeks. Or, customers can take furniture home from our store if they are able to.
For custom orders, the delivery time is typically between eight and twelve weeks. While this is a longer wait than other options, customers value creating personalized patio pieces.
Our Amish outdoor gliders are highly durable, sustainable, and weather proof. The stain color also lasts longer than other options like powder coated aluminum.
Height and Size Options
Each double glider is available in four or five feet. The smaller option features cup holders that swivel out from under each armrest. The larger size has a central console that folds down to reveal two cup holders and a small surface.
Each double glider is available at standard or balcony height. The taller option is ideal for decks that look over a view because the sitter can see over a railing.
Poly Wood Color Selection
We offer a competitive selection of poly wood color options. Each piece of outdoor furniture is available in all one color or in a two toned option. Customers can mix and match our standard and premium poly wood colors to create their perfect sets.
Standard options cost less than premium because the premium colors require more pigment. Customers can choose two standard, two premium, or one of each for a price in the middle.
For example, our Comfort Back double glider costs $848 in two standard colors. For a mix of standard and premium, the price increases to $901. If a customer selects two premium colors, the price is $956.
Our standard options include a few accents colors and mostly natural or neutral shades. These include: White, Weatherwood, Light Gray, Cedar, Cherrywood, Tudor Brown, Dark Gray, and Black. Available accents are: Mint Green, Patriot Blue, and Turf Green.
The premium options are brighter and more vibrant than the standard. Colors include: Pink, Bright Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Aruba Blue, and Purple. Available at the same price are our wood grain colors.
These are unique to our poly lumber supplier and mimic the color and grain patterns of real wood. Options include: Seashell, Birchwood, Driftwood Gray, Coastal Gray, Antique Mahogany, and Brazilian Walnut.
Mix and match these color options to create a patio set unique to your outdoor space. Some great combos are: Brazilian Walnut and Black, Mint Green and Birchwood, and Seashell and Aruba Blue.
