Regardless of the size or shape of your space, we have swivel bar chairs or stools that will fit your space perfectly. These stools are available in both counter height and bar height. All our swivel stools and chairs are available as a stationary style. A stationary chair will be a little more affordable and won't bump into your table as often.
A outdoor swivel counter stool has a 24" seat height, which is perfect for lower outdoor kitchens or extra seating around a counter table. A higher option is the bar height stool which has a seat height of 30". This stool is ideal for high top sets or around a patio bar cabinet.
Both the counter and bar height chairs are available with a back or as a backless stool. Our outdoor swivel bar stools with back can provide some extra support and are safer for smaller children. In contrast, without a back you can sit back further and they fit under bar height tables fully.
Another feature of our outdoor bar stools with swivel is the footrest at the bottom of all our stools both counter and bar height. This gives your feet somewhere to rest and keeps them from dangling while you are sitting. The footrest is also helpful for getting in and out of the chair as it provides somewhere to step.

All our bar or counter chairs can have a cupholder attached to either arm for your drinks. This cupholder can swing in and out of the arm, so anytime you are not using the cupholder is stores hidden underneath the arm. Also, the cupholders are available in any of our poly colors to match whichever colors you choose.
Durable Swivel Patio Bar Stools with Poly Wood
At Upstate Amish Furniture, we use recycled poly lumber for all our outdoor furniture pieces. Tangent Sustainable Lumber is the manufacturer of this poly wood. They recycle milk jugs and bottle caps to long lasting sustainable plastic lumber. Every piece of outdoor furniture can be outside without a cover all year.
One benefit to this weather resistant poly wood is the maintenance. Poly wood is almost completely maintenance free. It can sit outside throughout all the elements; even snow, rain, and frost won't hurt this material. Additionally, there is no staining or painting required as this poly wood will not lose its color.
Most of the poly colors have a uv resistance in the material so the sun won't fade any of your furniture. The only exception is occasionally a bright red or orange will fade slightly. The color is throughout the entire wood so any scratches won't be as visible or discolored. We have a wide variety of colors to choose from such as earth tones, bright tropical colors, or coastal colors.
A few popular combinations include, weatherwood with either black or chocolate. Darker colors are ideal for the accent color because they have a sleek look and help the top color stand out. Our natural finish colors such as Brazilian walnut or Coastal Gray are stunning for rustic wood look.
In comparison to wood, this poly material does not rot or crack overtime. Also, it weighs more than wood so it won't blow around your patio or porch even with high strong winds.
How to Clean Your Poly Wood Furniture
Another benefit to this recycled poly wood is that it is easy to clean. Poly is a hard surface wood so it does not absorb stains easily. The best way to keep your poly furniture clean is to pressure wash everything with your deck or patio. We recommend keeping the pressure washer head about 10-12 inches away from the wood to avoid roughing up the smooth surface.
An easier way to clean your patio furniture is with a bucket and some water. You can use any cleaner you have available to you. As I mentioned poly is a hard surface material so it can withstand harsher cleaning methods. Products such as Simple Green or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will be sure to take care of even the toughest stains for you.
Creating Furniture Sets with Poly Swivel Bar Stools
No matter if you are looking for a small balcony set or a large guest seating set, we have the bar height seating for you. Our patio bar stools with swivel are perfect for around a large bar cabinet. They are small and easy to move, so there can be lots of seats around your bar.
We offer a wide variety of table sizes available to pair with our bar chairs and stools. Our round tables start as small as 36" round, this will seat 2-3 people comfortably. For a little more room, the square table is 44" wide, anywhere from 2-4 people can sit at this table. These tables paired with 2-4 of our bar or counter height chairs will make a durable stylish bistro set for your porch or patio.
Another excellent outdoor option is our bar cabinet collection. These pair especially well with the saddle bar stools. Each bar cabinet has extra storage for convenience and high tops perfect for serving. We have single section bars such as the deluxe bar cabinet, it seats a minimum of 4 people and has three shelves for storage.
An additional option is creating your own custom system with our classic bar collection. The classic bar collection has three different size options. A 33" wide, 55" wide, and a corner section, so you can pick whatever size and shape you would like. A standard system with one of each section size can seat around 6-8 stools.
Our larger tables such as the classic or deluxe rectangle tables are perfect for families or hosting guests. These rectangle tables can size up to a 44"x94" or a square 66", either of these can sit a minimum of 8 people. The larger tables are most popular with counter height or bar height chairs. A chair with a swivel base is ideal for high top tables as it minimizes having to move the chair around.
The round poly table is also available in larger sizes for more seating. At 54" round you can comfortably fit a minimum of six people. Also, it is available as a 48" round which seats at least 4-5 people. Each size and shape of table can be in counter height or bar height, and fits any of our chairs and bar stools.
