If customers choose to customize their own sets, crafting and building the furniture takes about 8-12 weeks. This is because our Amish partners handcraft each order as they come in and ship them from Ohio.
Our rare level of customization includes choosing 1-2 of our poly wood colors for every piece of outdoor furniture. For cushioned options, customers also choose from our selection of patterned and solid Sunbrella fabrics.
Dining High Top Patio Table Set
At Upstate Amish, we offer four unique styles of high top patio table sets with a variety of bar stools to choose from. Each style is available at standard dining, counter, and bar height. To create a high top patio dining set, we recommend our bar height outdoor tables.
These measure 42 inches high and pair perfectly with our bar height patio chairs. For a slightly shorter high top, our counter height patio sets are 36 inches tall. The same chairs are available at different heights for both options.

Bar Height Tables
Our outdoor table styles include: Round, Classic, Deluxe, and Premier. The round option is available with a diameter of 36, 42, 48, or 54 inches. A round dining table is a great option for a more casual, conversational setting.
Round tables usually feel more natural and less formal than rectangular styles. This is because there are no heads of the table and each person can see and hear across the table equally.
The Classic style is available in a variety of square and rectangular sizes. These include (in inches): 27.5 x 27.5, 38.5 x 38.5, 44 x 44, 40 x 60, 44 x 72, 44 x 94, and 66 x 66. The design features widthwise boards with rounded edges. The two toned option makes the base all one color and the table top a separate color.
The Deluxe style is available in the same sizes as the Classic and offers a little more detail. Like the Classic, it features widthwise boards across the tabletop, but adds a border that includes two lengthwise boards. This border matches the base color of the table for added contrast.
Our Premier style is only available in two sizes: 44 x 44 and 72 x 44 inches. This style features lengthwise boards across the table top between two widthwise boards at each end.
Outdoor Bar Stool Styles
Complete your high top patio table set by choosing from our selection of stylish bar stools. We offer five unique styles, four of which are available with or without a swivel.
First is our classic Saddle Swivel Bar Stool available with or without a back. This style features a comfortable curved seat. If customers choose the two toned color option, the seat and back will contrast with the base of the chair.
The next four are bar stool versions of our other outdoor chair styles: Modura, Adirondack, Comfort Back, and Gateway. Each is available as a stationary or swivel chair. All styles feature a footrest and a deep, curved seat for comfortable relaxation.
The Modura Bar Stool displays a more contemporary style with its simple yet unique design. It features straight, vertical boards that dramatically curve around the sitter for an interesting look.
The Adirondack style also features a curved back, but it is slight and not nearly as pronounced as the Modura. Its vertical boards display a fan or shell like pattern on the back of the chair in classic Adirondack style.
Like its name suggests, our Comfort Back option is a cozy, relaxing style perfect for long periods of sitting. It features a horizontally curved back for both neck and lumbar support. It also has a more modern look as the thin boards flow seamlessly from the back to the seat with no contrast.
Our final option, the Gateway, offers a more traditional look. It features a straight back with thin, vertical boards underneath an arch. The arch and armrest supports offer color contrast in our two toned style.
Two Person High Top Outdoor Patio Sets
Aside from outdoor dining sets, there are many other ways to style a high top patio furniture set. The below ideas are perfect for smaller spaces and decks with a view.
High Top Bistro Set
A bistro set, or a conversation set, is two chairs of any height with a small, usually round table in between. The original inspiration of bistro sets comes from compact sidewalk seating at European cafes (or bistros).
Create your own high top set with our 36 inch round table and any two of our bar stool styles. These create a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee in a casual, cozy outdoor setting.
Balcony Height Joined Chair Set
Each of our bar stool styles except the Saddle Swivel is available as a joined set. This is two balcony height chairs with a small platform connecting the armrests. This forms a small surface perfect for placing drinks while chatting and enjoying the weather.
These sets are ideal for extremely compact spaces that don't have room for a full table and two chairs.
Small Bar and Bar Stools
Our compact outdoor bars are another excellent way to furnish a small outdoor space. A great layout is to place either our 33 or 55 inch outdoor bar along a railing paired with two bar stools. This is perfect for decks that look out over a view.
Our bar tables feature ample storage space underneath the counter and enough surface space to enjoy a meal and drinks.
High Top Patio Set with Fire Pit Table
Another great way to style high top Amish patio furniture is an outdoor fire pit table and chairs set. These offer a warmth and literally brighten up any space.
We offer two styles of tables with a central fire pit mechanism: Signature and Crystal. The Signature style is available at 24 x 50 inches and features widthwise boards and clipped corners. Surrounding the fire pit is a rectangular glass border for safety.
This style is more similar to our outdoor bars than a dining table. The Signature makes a great addition to any outdoor get together as a food station. It makes an excellent space for DIY appetizers and desserts like roasted kabobs and s'mores.
Our Crystal Outdoor Fire Pit Table is available in two sizes: 44 x 44 and 44 x 72 inches. These offer more surface space than the Signature and are ideal to pair with bar stools. The 44 x 44 inch size features a circular glass border that contrasts well with the square table shape. The larger size displays a rectangular glass border to maximize surface space.
Both Crystal styles feature lengthwise boards that meet between two widthwise boards. The table base also features a border on each side that contrasts well if customers choose our two toned color option.
